Today we start off by distributing all the textbooks and workbooks.

Make sure that the textbooks are covered by next week.
Write your names in the workbook. Make sure you ALWAYS have all your materials with you when you come to class.

The video clips with lyrics (Sångtext) are to help you improve (förbättra) your vocabulary. ALWAYS WRITE DOWN ANY NEW WORDS  in a sentence or phrase. Your first list should be sent or shared with me by next Wednesday!

The theme of the first text is "family"
Mike will give you some discussion questions to talk about 2 x 2. As usual, write down any new words and put them in a sentence/phrase.


Now read the text on page 4. There is a little "twist" (knorr) at the end of the text. What is it?

Now practise the dialogue with a friend. One of you is Pam and the other is Jenny. Change roles.

Compare with the original recording that Mike will play. Were there any problems with your pronunciation (uttal)?

You should have enough time to do the exercises on the first page of the workbook- exercises 1 & 2  on page 4.
