We have now entered December which is a busy month in Sweden for high days and holidays.
Apart from Christmas and the days surrounding it we have Lucia, Nobel Day and, of course, the New Year.
LUCIA
Today we are going to watch a short film about Lucia. Afterwards I want you to discuss in pairs what Lucia means to you. Why do you think a tradition which came originally from Italy has such significance in Sweden?
It's been a while since we did the last quiz. I know the wordlist was for last week.. but a lot of students have NOT sent in their latest one. Use the words from the quiz to complete it please and share....
